What a difficult work, especially because I'm a student. Maybe time after my graduation or during a future job I would think about that and my opinion could change. But if you ask me nowadays, the first thing I want to say is that our career, especially FACSO, have to make hards efforts to change the leveling process in first year. The "Curso Transversal" makes us only troubles and wasting our time.
The second thing, is that our career can not have a duration of five years. That is completely unnecessarry. In Chile our careers have a very long duration, more than in other countries. But this doesn't mean that we learn more or we are best professionals than de rest, this situation also damage our mental health and obviously makes us to spend a lot of money for study at university. As well, our semesters are very lengthy. In chile, by the educations law, the semesters have to last 18 weeks, however, in other countries and continents, the semesters do not last more than 12 weeks.
Another thing that makes me feel worry is that here in FACSO, the students do not have enough psychologist. If someone have normal doubts about his or her future job or about the career, normal problems with the vocation that he or she choose, in FACSO noone would find enough support for enduring that kind of problems.
Finally, as a recomendation to the teachers, should you be ables to practice teaching methods more egalitarion with the students in general? I think that if you take this defiance seriously, beeing in classes would be better and more pleasant for everyone.
